FX TERMINAL
This Privacy Policy explains what information FX Terminal collects when you use our free forex research platform — including the little we store if you create an optional free account — how that information is used and safeguarded, the third-party market-data sources we rely on, and the choices and rights you have over your data.
FX Terminal is free and usable without an account, and the anonymous experience collects as little as it can: standard server logs, privacy-respecting analytics about which pages are opened, and browser local storage for your own settings — chart layouts, watchlists, drawings and the light or dark theme. Local storage never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
If you choose to create a free account we additionally store the email address you signed up with, a hashed password, and the small amount of state an account exists to carry: which Academy lessons you have completed, the strategies you have saved, and the communities you have joined. Nothing else is required and we do not ask for it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks for profiling. We are not a broker and we never ask for banking details, card numbers or trading account credentials — no part of FX Terminal has a legitimate reason to request them.
Market data shown in the terminal comes from third-party sources such as exchanges, central banks and public statistical agencies. Requesting it does not send them anything about you; the request is made by our servers, not your browser.
Cookies are used for two things: keeping you signed in if you have an account, and aggregate analytics that tell us which screens are worth building on. You can clear both from your browser at any time, and clearing local storage will reset your saved layouts and watchlists along with them.
You can request a copy of the data attached to your account, correct it, or ask for the account and everything in it to be deleted — email the address in the policy below and we will action it. Deleting your account removes the saved progress, strategies and community memberships tied to it.
FX Terminal provides free market research and analysis for informational purposes only. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Trading forex carries a high level of risk.
