A forex course built around live market data

Most forex courses end where the real work starts: you finish a module on currency strength and are left with a screenshot of a strength meter. FX Terminal Academy is built inside a working research terminal, so a lesson on currency strength finishes one click from a live strength meter, and a lesson on the economic calendar finishes one click from this week's releases.

The curriculum runs from absolute basics — what a currency pair is, what a pip measures, how a spread costs you — through chart reading, technical analysis, price action, fundamental analysis, risk management, trading psychology, strategy building and prop-firm preparation. Each path is ordered, so you can start at the top and keep going, or use the search to jump to the one thing you need.

How the Academy is structured

Ten learning paths, each holding several courses, each course holding a sequence of lessons. Every lesson has an introduction that frames what you'll be able to do, a body with worked examples and interactive exercises, a summary, and a short quiz that is graded server-side.

Progress tracking, XP, levels, badges, daily streaks and course certificates are all free with an account — but every lesson stays readable without one, because education that hides behind a sign-up form is advertising.

Practise, not just read

Lessons include hands-on exercises: identify a candlestick pattern, place a support level on a chart, size a position for a fixed percentage risk, work out a risk-to-reward ratio, pick the right order type for a scenario. Nothing is scored or stored, so you can get them wrong as many times as you like — the explanation is the point.

Frequently asked questions

Is the FX Terminal Academy really free?

Yes. Every lesson, course and quiz is free to read with no sign-up. A free account only adds saved progress, XP, notes, bookmarks and certificates.

Do I need trading experience to start?

No. The Forex Basics path assumes no prior knowledge — it starts with what a currency pair is and what a pip measures.

How long does a learning path take?

Each path shows its estimated study time, typically two to six hours of reading across its courses. There is no schedule and no expiry.

Do I get a certificate?

Completing every lesson in a course issues a certificate with a verifiable serial number. It is a record of study, not a regulated qualification.

Does the Academy give trading advice?

No. It teaches concepts, terminology and process. Nothing in the Academy is a recommendation to buy or sell, and trading forex carries a high level of risk.
